Cities and countries are environmental places where interact with the lore. Players earn money by trading between two cities. Each city has production and consumption metrics for each good. Each city belongs to a country.
Countries have cultural modifiers on production and consumption. Also, countries may have trading agreements with other countries.
City production is calculated by multiplying the city development power and population. Both city development power and the population are hidden metrics. These metrics are increasing slightly each day as long as there is not an event such as war.
City consumption is calculated by multiplying the city cultural consumption modifier and population. Cultural consumption modifiers may change slightly randomly.
Countries have cultural behaviors towards different goods. As an example, a country may produce iron and consume medicine more than average. It will be more profitable to trade-related these behaviors for players. There is the list of countries and cities below:
Each country builds relations with other countries. Relation ranges between 100 and -100. While 100 means a really good relation, -100 means a rival relation. Relations may be used for the fundamental analysis by the players. As an example, a country can not start war against another country if the relation is more than the threshold. Relation based events are listed below;
